Dark Knight
Dummo

The band's neon detour

Cut between tour legs in a Seattle basement studio, Dark Knight Dummo trades the chapel echo of the album for synths, drum machines and Jonah's baritone guitar. It is the sound of the van at 1 a.m. — city lights, half-awake harmonies, and Theo's keys glowing through every chorus.

Critics called it the band's bravest left turn. The band calls it the most fun they have ever had in a studio.
